Detection of compressed air leaks

Rising electricity prices and restrictions on CO₂ emissions are problems faced by production plants. By detecting compressed air leaks, we help companies prevent these problems. We reduce electricity consumption costs and CO₂ emissions.

Why is it worth using the service?

We use the ultrasonic method to detect compressed air leaks.

Reduction of electricity costs
Factory

Detection of leaks leads to lower costs resulting from unnecessary operation of industrial compressors.

reducing CO₂ and protecting the environment
Factory

By detecting leaks, CO₂ emissions are reduced, which leads to a positive impact on the natural environment and promotion of pro-ecological attitude.

specialized measuring equipment
Factory

A specialized static ultrasound detector is used to detect compressed air leaks.

detection efficiency
Factory

Thanks to the use of a specialized parabolic probe, we are able to detect leaks even from a distance of 30 m. Accurate leak measurement to estimate losses is made from a distance of about 20 cm.

no interference with the pneumatic system
Factory

The ultrasonic method does not require interference with the pneumatic system and is highly effective. It is not necessary to inject any colored gases or liquids into the pneumatic system.

FAQs

Check out the answers to the most frequently asked questions about compressed air leak detection. If you haven't found an answer to your question, please feel free to contact us.

Can equipment be rented?
Arrow down white icon

Yes, it is possible to rent equipment and perform compressed air leak detection on your own

How much energy savings can be expected?
Arrow down white icon

You can expect savings of up to 30%. The exact value of the savings depends on the age and technical condition of the current pneumatic installation. We are able to convert each leak into an estimated saving in electricity costs.

How is leakage measurement and detection carried out?
Arrow down white icon

We carry out measurements on the installations indicated by the customer. We recommend starting the detection from the source, i.e. industrial compressors, and then moving to all branches of the system. Thanks to a specialized parabolic probe, we are also able to detect leaks from a distance of up to 30 meters. Accurate measurement and estimation of the generated loss in euros is performed from a distance of about 20 cm.

Does noise in the factory interfere with measurement and detection?
Arrow down white icon

No, the measuring device is adapted to work in noise and thanks to the applied damping, it is oriented only on the detection of compressed air leaks.

How long does it take for compressed air leak detection to pay off?
Arrow down white icon

The average amortization time for the cost of compressed air leak detection is about 4 months, although it depends on the technical condition and age of the installation.

Is it good practice to perform leak detection on a new installation?
Arrow down white icon

Yes, it is good practice to check the newly made installation, in particular the systems with actuators, grippers, suction cups and all moving elements, so that the installation is fully prepared for operation. This gives you a few years of peace of mind from unnecessary waste of energy, money and unnecessary CO2 emissions. After about 3-4 years, it is good to check the installation again, because installations whose age is approaching 5 years can generate losses of up to 25%.

Why is it worth ordering a compressed air leak detection service with our specialist?
Arrow down white icon

We have trained specialists, which facilitates and speeds up the detection process. You do not waste the time of your employees, who can focus on their duties at this time. You get a detailed report with photos of localized leaks. Insight into the estimated energy and money losses that a given spill generates. Insight into estimates of unnecessarily emitted CO2 by a given leak
